CDL Specialist Contracting has done one thing consistently: got to parts of a building nobody else could reach, and then done something useful once we were there.

We started as steeplejacks — a trade that hasn't really changed in a century, working on the same spires, towers and chimneys it always has. What's changed is what we can do once we're up there. Rope access, spider-boom MEWP and traditional laddering are just the way in. The real work is repairing and finishing the job safely and to the highest standards — electrical, lightning protection, structural repair and cleaning — carried out by people who happen to also be comfortable forty metres up.

That's why our clients don't sit in one neat category. Developers call us for the same reason a church warden does: something needs doing at height, properly, with the paperwork to prove it.
