Powered Access (MEWP)

MEWP Cherry Picker Services

Fast, low-footprint access to hard-to-reach elevations, without the time and cost of scaffolding.

Overview

What this covers

A spider-boom MEWP gets a team safely to height in a fraction of the time it takes to erect scaffolding — and takes up a fraction of the space on site. All our MEWP operators are IPAF licensed, and we assess every site to work out whether a spider boom is the right access method or whether another approach suits the job better.

This isn't a standalone hire service — it's how we deliver the rest of our work. The same access solution supports our electrical, structural, cleaning and lightning protection teams on the same visit.

FAQs

Common questions

Is a spider-boom MEWP better than scaffolding?

For many jobs, yes — a spider boom sets up far faster, disrupts the site much less, and can reach narrow or awkward spaces scaffolding can't. Scaffolding still makes sense for some larger or longer-duration projects.

Are your MEWP operators licensed?

Yes, all our MEWP operators are IPAF licensed.
